ART WORK
We are woven together as a human community through the stories we hold within us and the stories we want to create in this world.
Sthavi is an earnest endeavor to weaving withness through art and storytelling. While some of these creations are inspired by other artists (credits mentioned), these images spoke to me and helped me create my own version. I consider these artistic expressions as an authentic voice waiting to be unlocked. These drawings waited to be visualised, created, moulded and voice something that I could never say in words. I do hope these creations help you find your own unique path, purpose and reasons.

Art and Storyline
Story: Amanda is joyous by her own nature. Her innate ability to seek joy in every moment and still be herself is her success story. She does not wait for external validation or a materialistic moment to define her happiness and to spread her delightfulness.

Zaniya is all embracing. She embraces all of humanity and everything that life brings with it. She pauses and slows down consciously when she has to make choices. She chooses to be completely involved in her world of family and relationships but yet using her wings to achieve something higher, aspiring for something her soul desires.

No one is free of the challenges that life offers as a learning. While one may feel bound and limited as if stuck in a web of entangled roots, there are unlimited possibilities to be who you want to be. The butterfly represents the metamorphosis into something colorful, beautiful and ready to fly. Bahupada the one with many legs is the other name for the glorious banayan tree.Growing, expanding and evolving, nothing distracts the banayan tree from what it has to become. Are you ready to grow and evolve?

The seen and the unseen! We often get so caught up with what the five senses reveal that we miss the unseen.

Broadening your perception
One of the biggest challenges in life is seeing situations the way they are. When we observe without a sense of judgement and prejudice, perception broadens and the innate wisdom blossoms.
In seeking her own identity, Frida wore colorful clothes, elaborate accessories and flowers in her hair. Even though she was challenged by both physical and mental illness, she constantly worked out new meanings to who she was and what she could do gaining a greater sense of self-acceptance and seeking purpose.

Even though events may feel delayed, there is a universal time meant for things to happen and they follow the pattern faultlessly. We are in constant quest for seeking the elements that would make us feel complete and whole! We seek this in our internal and external worlds and in various ways. When there is a complementary symphony of the yin and the yang, there is a unique harmony that represents wholeness. There are many parts of ourselves that we cherish and unfold as we grow! It is rare that someone has the courage to show their true self, the way they see themselves and reflect who they are in context to the outside world! This drawing is of evolving into womanhood, daring to choose the clothes we wish to wear and revealing the different strengths and vulnerabilities of being a human. In today’s world being vulnerable is considered being weak but in my understanding it takes great courage to show that you have emotions and feelings that are yours! The head is full of ideas and energetic thoughts that you would like to manifest by wearing these different coloured clothes.

This tortoise is a reminder that we carry our home with us wherever we go. There is no need to hurry, no need to seek shelter elsewhere. Even as we move into the depths of the emotional waters, we can remain self-contained and free from attachments. Savor this quality of slowing down, of coming to rest and recognizing that you are already at home.

Annapoorni is the goddess of food, a motherly energy that embraces the entire human race in her arms. Her golden bowl ever brimming with food. This painting is dedicated to all those who do not enjoy the privilege of a filling meal every day in their lives. May their lives and souls be nourished with soulful food! In Buddhist symbolism the lotus is symbolic of purity ,its flowers blossom on long stalks as if floating above the muddy waters of attachment and desire. It is also symbolic of detachment as drops of water easily slide off its petals. While Annapoorni mothers all, she yet remains detached and rooted as over her purpose!
